AIR TECHNOLOGY: FLYFREE
UMILES FlyFree technology is a unique, patented, system that allows stability for stable flight in adverse conditions.
FlyFree technology improves the range in cruising mode where this aircraft will operate most of the time, by being able to position the main cabin with the same attitude, thus improving the efficiency by up to 80% and allowing for stable flight, even in the most adverse conditions.

Thanks to the individual control of each power unit and propeller, the FlyFree system allows much greater stability than conventional multicopter technologies during the whole flight.

The “drone of drones” prototype is composed by an aerodynamic cabin propelled by four drones placed at the top and bottom that allow the cabin to move. Thanks to an advanced control system, the drones move independently and decoupled from the cabin’s rotation angles, but coordinated with each other, which favours aerodynamic efficiency, stability, precision, and controllability of the cabin and, therefore, offers a superior passenger experience.Our FlyFree technology offers the best passenger travel experience and allows us to transport the most delicate cargo.

UMILES Next Ground mobility strategy is built on a “teledrive first” thesis We are on the way to develop a proprietary tele-driving platform that allows drivers in a central tele-centre to remotely drive connected vehicles on the public roads.

UMILES Next Ground mobility strategy is built on a “teledrive first” thesis We are on the way to develop a proprietary tele-driving platform that allows drivers in a central tele-centre to remotely drive connected vehicles on the public roads.
In addition, platooning technology allows two or more vehicles to travel on the road together in a coordinated manner. In the scope of this project, this also implies that the lead vehicle is controlled by a driver responsible for deciding/managing the route, while the others follow automatically (without human intervention).
Autonomous features can be integrated gradually, as they become technically and commercially viable. This offers an immediate commercial and safe path to autonomous driving.
