The awards were presided over in honor by the Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez Jiménez. Among the members of the jury were Eduardo Serra, (President of the jury) and ex Minister of Defense; José Luis Rodrigo, general director of Fundación Ibercaja; José Portilla, general director of SERNAUTO; José López-Tafall, general director of ANFA, and Alfonso Gil, Secretary of Transport, Sustainable Mobility and Urban Agenda, among others.

A great honour and just reward for the work of this outstanding team that is enjoying realising a project that promotes a sustainable future for the planet.

José Portilla, CEO of SERNAUTO, remarked that “the vote was by a large majority”. The jury for the IMPULSO awards was most impressed by UMILES Next’s two-fold commitment to both air and ground mobility. “Above all, by a highly important concept that impressed everyone on the jury, namely intermodality, the ability to combine both air and ground mobility. In this sense, we believe that it could serve as a major springboard to improve mobility and, indeed, as it is an electrical device that assists us in our current process, it can help us to achieve our decarbonisation goals”, declared José Portilla.
